We scan official recall sources every 2 hours. Our system intelligently analyzes each recall to determine if it is relevant to pet owners, specifically for dog and cat food products.
  • Keyword Matching: We check if the recall contains dog- or cat-related terms, such as "dog food", "cat treats", or "kibble". We also look for general pet-related clues, like "pet treats" or "companion animal".
  • Contamination & Recall Warnings: We monitor recalls mentioning safety risks such as contamination, bacterial infections (Salmonella, E. coli, Listeria), and toxins.
  • Personalized Alerts: If you’ve set up preferences for specific brands, we’ll send you an alert only if your tracked brand is affected (if you opted for this). Otherwise, you’ll receive all pet food-related recall alerts.
Once a recall is confirmed as relevant, we immediately send an email with all the details, helping you take action to keep your pet safe.

Our service is $10 per month, managed through Paddle.

❌ How do I cancel my subscription?

You can cancel anytime via the Paddle subscription link you received in your email. After canceling, you will still receive alerts until your billing cycle ends.

If you no longer wish to receive alerts, you need to cancel your subscription via Paddle. Emails will stop once your billing period ends.

πŸ” How does brand tracking work?

You can track specific brands in your preferences. There are two ways to set up tracking:

1️⃣ Enter a brand name without selecting "Send alerts only for my tracked brand":
- You will receive all pet food recalls, just like other users.
- However, the email **subject line will be personalized**, mentioning your tracked brand (e.g., "🚨 Issue with Your Tracked Brand!").

2️⃣ Enter a brand name and select "Send alerts only for my tracked brand":
- You will receive **alerts ONLY if your tracked brand is involved** in a recall.
- Be aware that some brands manufacture **both pet and non-pet products**. If your brand is recalled for a non-pet product, you may still receive an alert.

Summary: - If you don’t select "Send alerts only for my tracked brand," you get **all recalls** with a personalized subject line. - If you select "Send alerts only for my tracked brand," you get **only brand-specific recalls**, but **you might still receive non-pet product recalls** under that brand.
